Dr Arooj Siddiqui is a Senior Lecturer of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Department of Physics, Engineering and Computer Science, University of Hertfordshire, UK . Dr. Siddiqui has a teaching as well as research role across the disciplines of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. She is actively pursuing research on Energy harvesting in 6G, Satellite communication, and Green communication networks. Dr Arooj Siddiqui received her Master’s (with Distinction) and PhD degree in Mobile Broadband Communication systems from Lancaster University, UK (2013, 2017). She worked as Senior Lecturer at the School of Science and Technology, Nottingham Trent University (NTU), UK (2020-2023). She remained part of Smart Wireless Innovation Facility (SWIFt) as part of ‘smart campus’ project. Prior to that, She was a Research Fellow at University of Surrey (2019-2020) where she worked with project in joint collaboration with Chinese Space Centre and EUSAT. She has also worked as a Research Assistant on (ATOM)- Horizon 2020 project during her PhD in Infolab 21, Lancaster university, UK (2014-2017).
