Biography: Madjid Khalilian was born in Iran, March 1974. He was graduated in mathematics and Physics in 1992, Iran. He received the B.S. Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Islamic Azad University (IAU), Iran, in 1997, and Master Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Islamic Azad University (IAU), Tehran in 2000. He was a senior engineer in Iran IRISA Company, Isfahan 1998 to 1999. From 2000 to 2002 he was master software analyst and designer engineer in Iran Navy (Islamic Republic Of) computer center. Since 2002 he has served as a full time faculty member of department of software engineering in IAU of Karaj. He has been doing research several projects such as expert system for classification and identification of plants. During 2002 to 2006 he served as a part time lecturer in different Universities including South Tehran IAU, North Tehran IAU, Zahedan IAU, and Applied Science University. In 2008 he joined faculty of computer science and information technology, department of computer science University Putra Malaysia (UPM) doing his PhD. During his study, he investigated the Data Stream Clustering. He also served as a member for Intrusion Detection System research project. His field of study is intelligent computing and his interests are soft computing, data mining, advanced algorithm, Intrusion Detection Systems, discrete mathematics with application in computer science, semantic web and information retrieval.
