Biography: I am senior engineer at Qualcomm Incorporated. I graduated with a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Delaware in 2010, under the supervision of Dr. Guang R. Gao (Fellow, ACM & IEEE). My dissertation is about programming multi/many-core chips for scientific computing. I received my M.E. and B.E degree from the National University of Singapore and Northwestern Polytechnic University in 2004 and 1998, respectively. My research interests are parallel computing, performance modeling & analysis, run-time systems, HPC, GPGPU, multimedia systems, and distributed systems. I have published 10+ conference/journal papers in the above fields (e.g., my work on optimizing the fast Fourier transform on IBM Cyclops-64 architecture is one the most cited work in the related research field).
