Abstract: This paper proposes a framework to solve academic certificate fraud by implementing a blockchain network. A permission Hyperledger Fabric network is deployed to store students’ information and allows the proper access to guarantee the system's security. The paper discusses several studies that introduce variants of solutions for the academic certification tampering problem by using blockchain technology. It finds Hyperledger Fabric secure, and performant with higher TPS than Bitcoin and Ethereum; latency increases with participant number.
