Biography
Dr. Ruziana Mohamad Rasli is a Senior Lecturer in the field of Information Technology and Multimedia at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). She specializes in Augmented Reality (AR), Internet of Things (IoT), Multimedia Technology, Ontology, and Natural Language Processing (NLP). She obtained her PhD in Information Technology from Universiti Utara Malaysia, focusing on ontology development and semantic knowledge representation. With extensive teaching experience in higher education institutions, she has taught various courses related to programming, databases, networking, multimedia systems, and game development. Her research interests focus on immersive technologies, smart systems, digital learning innovation, and interactive educational applications. Dr. Ruziana is passionate about integrating emerging technologies into teaching and learning to create engaging, student-centred, and future-ready educational experiences. She actively participates in research, innovation competitions, curriculum development, and academic activities that contribute to technology-enhanced education and community development.
