Biography: Contributing as Associate Professor of Computer Science and IT and the Associate Director of Skill Incubation Innovation Entrepreneurship Development Centre (SIIEDC), University of Jammu with 19 years of rich experience in Teaching and Research. Tried level best to made significant contributions in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Networks, and Databases, authoring 95 international publications, 3 books and filed 4 different patents. Exhaustively leading into groundbreaking research projects on human emotions using brain signals, AI-based Early Warning Systems, Landslide Monitoring, Drone Technologies, IoT Sensor Networks, and AI-based Smart Microscopes. Guided 4 PhD Scholars and currently mentoring 6 more, along with supervising 6 research fellows appointed under different research projects. Honored with prestigious fellowships from UGC, DST, CSI, INSA, Miety, LTU Sweden and Rutgers University USA for research visits and collaborations with international institutions like Lulea University of Technology Sweden, Appalachian State University, and the National University of Singapore. Widely travelled to various countries like Singapore, Oman, Hongkong, Thailand, USA, Sweden and China. Hold memberships of the various professional bodies as member and fellow of CSI, IEEE, and ACM. Served as Guest Faculty at IIM Jammu, BGSBU Rajouri, and Visiting Fellow at LTU Sweden. Current research focuses on AI and Machine Learning applications in Bacterial Image Classification, Nematodes, Human Emotions using EEG Signals, Stock Market Prediction, Drones, Sensors, IoT, Intrusion Detection, Oral Cancer Detection, and Alzheimer's Diagnosis. Dedicated into mentoring students in IT and AI through the innovative "Design Your Degree" A four Years Undergraduate Program.
