Biography: Dr. Ram Naresh Saraswat is currently Assistant Professor (Selection Grade) at Manipal University Jaipur. Prior to this he obtained Ph.D. degree from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur (NIT Jaipur) since April 2013. He is GATE qualified in 2009. He has published total 31 research papers till date, out of them eight are SCI/Scopus indexed. His research interest includes Information Theory and Coding, Fuzzy Modeling, Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM). He successfully completed a project to Information Measures Pattern recognition and Information Retrieval. He has supervised 2 PhD candidate; out of them one developed a fuzzy divergence measure (FDM). Under his supervision, Three PhD students are working in development of FDM and applications in MCDM. He was awarded “Best Teacher Award” in Mathematics by ITSR Foundation award 2019. He was Vice president of Rajasthan Ganita Parishad during 2016-2018.
