Biography
My name is Igor Sukharev. I hold a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and am pursuing a second Ph.D. in civil engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. I’m researching generative AI and machine learning applications in civil engineering. I’m particularly interested in software engineering, cloud computing, edge computing, generative AI, and large language models. My professional background includes over 16 years at IBM, where I specialized in cloud and edge computing. This experience is augmented by my contributions to the field, evidenced by more than ten worldwide patents. As an active member of various technical communities and a frequent speaker, I am deeply invested in advancing these technologies.
