Biography
Associate Professor Dr. Ting received her BSc and PhD in Computer Sciences from the University of Science, Malaysia. Ting joined Gemalto as a telecommunications software engineer in Singapore before entering academia. She has more than 16 years of experience in teaching, supervising postgraduate projects, and conducting research. Ting received her professional certification in project management from PMI and data analytics from SAS. Currently, Ting is an INTI International University research track associate professor, and her academic responsibilities include: supervising PhD students; serving as master’s programme course leader; industry employer project coordinator; and coordinating and developing learning materials for undergraduates. Dr. Ting is a passionate researcher, having published her work, organised international seminars, and collaborated with national and international researchers, including the United Kingdom, Singapore, Bangladesh, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia, securing more than MYR600k in research grants. Her research interests include multidisciplinary big data analytics, information systems engineering, educational data mining, psycho academic research, and software engineering.
