Biography: Dr. Ali is an Associate Professor of MIS & e-Business/e-Commerce, have joined Philadelphia University – Faculty of IT in 2008 as Assistant Professor. In 2010, I have been appointed as Chairman of MIS department till now. In 2013, I have been assigned to chair the department of CIS besides the MIS department. In the same year, I have been promoted to Associate Professor Rank. In 2015 I have been assigned to the position of "Vice Dean" besides chairing the MIS department. Before joining Philadelphia University, I have worked for 10 years at the Jordanian and Kuwait Ministry of Education as programmer, supervisor, officer and teacher. During my research in the subjects of IT applications, Enterprise Information Systems and e-technologies, I have concentrated on e-business/e-commerce applications - especially e-banking, e-government and e-learning. Besides my research interests in e-business/e-commerce applications within the MIS field, I have done research on knowledge management, technology adoption and diffusion, e-value creation, e-service quality and relationship quality. I have introduced and empirically applied new models in the Jordanian context during my research that resulted into published works. Through more than 15 years of experience in diverse domains, I have had the understanding of the educational, academic, management, professional, industrial, research and technical fields, which gave me the advantage for combing these for better quality academic work. I have published more than 30 research papers in a prestigious journals published by ELSEVIER, INDERSCIENCE, IRMA, IGI, IBIMA, ATLANTIS, SRP, IADIS…etc. in addition to many national & international conferences. Furthermore, I have participated as member of organizing, steering, editorial board, technical, examination and scientific committees for more than 40 conference, journal and master theses.
