Biography: Prof. Mohcine Kodad is a professor at the Higher School of Technology at Mohammed I University in Oujda, Morocco. He holds a PhD in sciences, specializing in computer engineering. He is an expert in information systems engineering and media technology. He is the coordinator of the Embedded Computing Engineering program at the Higher School of Technology, the coordinator of the Bachelor’s in Digital Media Development, and the coordinator of the University Diploma in Web and Multimedia Studies at the same institution. He is also an elected member of the institution’s council and the pedagogical supervisor of the Media and Technology Club. Professor Kodad holds a specialized master’s degree in software quality. Following this, he worked as a design and development engineer for three years at a French company based in Oujda, Morocco, before joining academia after earning his PhD in 2016. In the scientific field, Professor Kodad was the chair of the first International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Its Applications (AISA’21) and the founder and president of the Sharq Center for Research, Studies, and Digitalization in Berkane, Morocco. He also coordinated the first National Symposium on Digital Awareness (CND’22). He is a member of the MATSI laboratory, the University Center for African Studies at Mohammed I University, and the University Center for Migration Studies. Professor Kodad has participated in numerous national and international scientific conferences and has published several research papers in internationally peer-reviewed scientific journals in his field of expertise.
