Biography: Dr. K. Prabhakar is a distinguished Professor in the field of Computer Science and Engineering with over 18 years of academic and research experience. Currently serving at CBIT, Hyderabad, he specializes in Software Engineering, Deep Learning, and related domains. A Ph.D. holder in Computer Science and Engineering, Dr. Prabhakar has handled a diverse range of courses, including Software Testing Methodologies, Deep Learning, and Cloud Computing, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has significantly contributed to institutional development through roles such as R&D Coordinator, NIRF Coordinator, and Board of Studies Member for emerging fields like AI and Machine Learning. Dr. Prabhakar has professional memberships in renowned organizations, including IEEE, ACM, and IAENG, further showcasing his commitment to academic excellence. Dr. Prabhakar’s research contributions are noteworthy, with 28 international journal publications and 17 conference presentation in areas like IoT, machine learning, and cybersecurity. His work includes funded projects such as IoT-based agricultural applications and machine learning-enabled dental treatment analysis. Dr. Prabhakar holds six patents, including innovations in bio-medical engineering and neural networks. A reviewer for several international conferences and journals, he has also authored book chapters and organized multiple faculty development programs. With a keen interest in guiding socially relevant projects, Dr. Prabhakar continues to inspire innovation and excellence in academia and industry.
