Dr. Lowlesh Yadav is a distinguished academician, accomplished researcher and visionary institutional leader with over thirteen years of experience in engineering education and research. He is currently serving as the Head of the Department (HOD) and Dean of Research & Development at Suryodaya College of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur, where he leads academic reforms, research initiatives, faculty development and innovation-driven growth. Dr. Yadav has completed his Post-Doctoral Research at Lincoln University, Malaysia, strengthening his global research exposure and academic excellence. Previously, he served at Shri Sai College of Engineering and Technology, Bhadrawati as Vice Principal, In-charge Principal and Dean IQAC, contributing significantly to academic governance, accreditation processes and quality enhancement across the institution. A prolific researcher, Dr. Yadav has published 8 patents, 4 books, 2 SCI-indexed papers and 12 Scopus-indexed journal papers, in addition to more than 75 total research publications in reputed national and international venues. He is an esteemed member of various editorial boards and has reviewed numerous journals indexed in Scopus, Web of Science (WoS) and SCI, maintaining strong contributions to scholarly standards and ethical research. In recognition of his academic and research excellence, Dr. Yadav received the Best Researcher Award from TGPCET, Nagpur in the year 2025 and the Best Teacher Award from the I20R organisations. His leadership in research is further demonstrated by successfully securing two major research proposals as Principal Investigator, with an approximate combined grant of ₹50 lakhs, sanctioned in 2025 at TGPCET. He also serves as a mentor of the DBATU Forum of Innovation, Incubation and Enterprise (DFIIE) since 2023, guiding students and innovators in entrepreneurship, start-up development and technology driven solutions. Dr. Yadav’s areas of expertise include IoT, IoHT, IoMT, tele healthcare applications, AI, ML, deep learning, computer networks, data science and data mining. His consistent participation in FDPs, STTPs, conferences and workshops, along with his role as a session chair at multiple national and international events, reflects his dedication to continuous learning and academic leadership.
