Biography
Dr. Ir. Lasmedi Afuan, ST., M.Cs., IPM, is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, specializing in Informatics. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering from Universitas Islam Indonesia, a Master’s degree, and a Doctorate in Computer Science from Universitas Gadjah Mada. His research focuses on decision support systems, data mining, information retrieval, and query expansion. With an extensive background in academic leadership, Dr. Afuan has served as the Head of the Informatics Department and led numerous research projects funded by national bodies. He is also actively involved in professional organizations, such as APTIKOM Central Java, and contributes as an editor and reviewer for several reputable journals. His work is published across various national and international platforms, reflecting his commitment to advancing technology and education in Indonesia
