Biography

Dr. Neeraj is an accomplished academician and researcher in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Poornima University, Jaipur. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh, and has several years of teaching experience across reputed institutions. Her areas of expertise include Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Internet of Things (IoT), and Software Project Estimation Techniques. She has a strong research background with multiple publications in Scopus-indexed, Web of Science, and IEEE conferences, along with contributions as a reviewer for international journals and conferences. Dr. Neeraj has authored book chapters with international publishers such as Taylor & Francis and has contributed to emerging research areas like blockchain, smart systems, and secure communication frameworks. She also holds several patents in IoT-based systems and intelligent technologies, reflecting her innovation-driven approach. She is actively involved in Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), research coordination, and academic leadership roles, including NAAC coordination and conference organization. Her teaching methodology emphasizes practical learning, real-world applications, and simplified understanding of complex concepts such as decomposition techniques, Lines of Code (LOC), and Function Point (FP) analysis.
