Dr. Waqas Haider Khan Bangyal

Biography

Dr. Waqas Haider Khan Bangyal received his Ph.D. in Computer Science. Dr. Bangyal is currently an Associate Professor and in charge Dean of Faculty of Computing and Applied Sciences, Kohsar University, Murree, Pakistan. He has 20+ years of global experience in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Big Data, and block chain. Dr. Bangyal has also been a facilitator, mentor, and coach for various programs. His area of expertise is technology and innovation, and he offers advice on how to promote and convert ideas into successful products/ solutions as well as building strategies with a focus on personal and career development. Dr. Waqas Haider Khan Bangyal has a grant portfolio of $2M+ and contributed to more than 30+ leading international technical journal and peer reviewed conference papers and books and received several recognitions for his research. Dr. Bangyal has the ability to contribute by bringing credibility to the high quality of modern technology teaching , and research and can develop an active teaching and research program and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research students. He is advisor for curriculum development for graduate and postgraduate programs for Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and National Technology Council, Pakistan. With a strong background in curriculum development, postgraduate research supervision, and academic leadership, Dr. Bangyal has contributed significantly to higher education and institutional development. He has also been involved in national-level projects including ERP/SAP implementation in universities and serves as a reviewer and external examiner for BS, MS, and Ph.D. programs across various universities. Dr. Bangyal remains actively engaged in research collaborations and academic training initiatives.
