Abstract: Time is relative, which makes the interaction so sensitive. Indeed, contemplating the concept of real-time enterprises resembled envisioning an idealized notion that seemed unattainable and impracticable in reality. Consequently, we give a new definition of the real-time concept according to our needs and targets for a successful business process. According to this definition, we can go towards a real-time business process validation algorithm, which has the goal of ensuring quality in terms of time, i.e., time latency ≃ 0. Put simply, it serves as a method to assess the consistency of a process. This approach aids in comprehending the temporal patterns inherent in a process as it evolves, empowering decision-makers to glean insights and swiftly form initial judgments for effective problem-solving and the identification of appropriate solutions. Thus, our main purpose is to deliver the right information and knowledge to the right person at the right time. To achieve this, we introduce a novel real-time component within the Business Process Management Notation (BPMN), encompassing various attributes that facilitate process monitoring. This extension transforms the BPMN into a unified real-time business process meta-model. To be more specific, our contribution proposes a continuous temporal improvement assessment and knowledge management as temporal knowledge helps to evaluate the real-time situation of the business process.
