Prof. Jesuk Ko received his Ph.D. degree in Systems Engineering from Royal Melbourne University of Technology (RMIT) in Australia, and his M.Eng.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering from Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) in Korea, respectively. He currently is a Visiting Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Universidad Mayor de San Andres (UMSA) in Bolivia. Also he is an Adjunct Professor of the Nelson Mandela African Institute of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) in Tanzania. He was a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Engineering at the Australian National University (ANU) for the period of 1 September 2008 to 31 August 2009. He also was a Head of Department (HOD) in the Department of Industrial and Information Engineering at Gwangju University. He served as a Full-time Lecturer, Graduate School of Engineering (GSE) at RMIT. He has been involved in Paper Review Committees as an Editorial Board Member of the prestigious international journals such as JHM, AJOR, APMR, IJPE, and others. He is a Principal Consultant with the Korea Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) and a Certified Associate of the Korean TOC Academy (KTA). At present, he is a senior organizing member of the Korean Theory of Constraints Association (TOC Korea), an academic trustee member of the Korean Society of Supply Chain Management (KSCM), and a member of the Korean Institute of Industrial Engineers (KIIE). He also is a member of the Korean Council on Systems Engineering (KCOSE).
