Dr Vusumuzi Malele is currently a Deputy Director at the South African government National Department of Science and Innovation in Pretoria and a part-time lecturer at Tshwane University of Technology. Dr Malele holds a Doctor of Technology degree in industrial Engineering, with more than 20 years of teaching experience, more than 15 years research, development and innovation management, and 9 years of involvement in research activities.
