I, Viacheslav Kovtun (https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7624-7072), was born on August 27, 1980, in Vinnytsia (Ukraine). In 1996 I entered Vinnytsia National Technical University (VNTU) and I still work there. In 2002, I received my MSc in Control Systems and Automation and entered graduate school. In 2006 I defended my dissertation "Information and Measurement System for Automatic Voice Recognition" and received a PhD in Information and Measuring Systems. In 2021, I defended my dissertation "Information Technologies for Increasing the Dependability of Information Systems for Critical Use with Person Authentication by Voice" and received the degree of DrSc in Information Technology. In 2007 I received the degree of Associate Professor, and since 2020 I have worked as a Professor at the Department of Computer Control Systems. It is a great honour for me that on August 2022 the staff of the native Department of Computer Control Systems elected me Head of the Department. The scope of my research interests includes info-communication technologies, systems analysis, mathematical modelling, dependability assessment, pattern recognition, signal processing, machine learning, speaker recognition and computer linguistics. I am actively producing new scientific knowledge in all these fields (full information is presented in the CV, available in my ORCID).
