Dr. Gamal A.N. Mohamed was born in Atbara, Sudan on 01st January 1968. B.Sc., M.Sc., in CS from India & PhD in CS-Cyber & Information Security-Malware Detection from UTM-Malaysia, holds AFHEA & D32/33 NVQ awards from the UK, a registered candidate for: CISSP, CISM, CRISC & CISA-2023 at TKA-UK. Key power speaker for the IDC IT Security Roadshow 2013 organized at Muscat, Oman. Has 23+ years of Teaching and Research experience, involved in teaching at higher academic institutions in India: Associate Lecturer at JMC-Bharathidasan University, in Sudan: Computing Lecturer at the Faculty of Computing-College of Commerce and Business Administration, Nile Valley University-Sudan in Oman: AL-Omani Institute for Vocational Training–Muscat as NVQ (National Vocational Qualifications) Assessor assessing candidates obtaining their IT NVQ-UK certificate. Currently, Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing at Muscat College, Oman (affiliated with SQA, UoS-UK and UMP-Malaysia). Research Supervisor for three URG projects for MoHERI – Oman.
