Dr. Ramesh Bharadwaj is a Senior Systems Researcher at the Navy's Center of Excellence in High Assurance Systems. He conducts research in rigorous engineering methods and tools for the specification, design, and construction of mission-critical software-intensive systems to ensure their safety, reliability, and trustworthiness. Tools, methods, guidelines and standards being developed as part of this research will ensure dependability of fielded autonomous unmanned systems employing machine learning (ML), more specifically deep learning (DL), and provide better protection against adversarial attacks. Dr. Bharadwaj serves as an adviser to organizations such as DARPA, ONR, PEO-IWS and USC, to address future research challenges.
