Biography: Dr. Gunasekar Thangarasu is currently working as a Head of Department for PRIDE (Professional, Industry Driven Education) Programmes at MAHSA University. He received his Ph.D., in the field of Information Technology at University Technology PETRONAS, Malaysia and he received his Master of Computer Applications from Bharathidasan University, India. He has been working in the capacity of a reviewer for renowned journals. His research interests include Big Data Analytics, Data mining, Artitifical Intelligence, Machine Learning and Cloud Computing. He has published around 25 journals which include SCOPUS and ISI. Besides, he has also attended more than 30 international conferences. He has worked three years (2011-2014) as a senior Lecturer cum Programme Leader for M.Sc programmes (Software Engineering, Software Management and Computer Networking) in the department of Post Graduate Studies & Professional Developments at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Cyberjaya. He has involved in the academic programme management, development of new curriculum, providing professional industrial training and supervision of final year projects in the areas of Computing and Information Technology. Hence, he has received the best Lecturer award twice during his texture as an academician. He has vast experience in software development for developing client server and cloud based applications for the companies using the latest technology tools such as ASP, ASP.NET (Family), PHP, Java, R programming, Microsoft Azure and Python
