Lazhar Mohamed Khriji

Biography

Prof. Dr. Lazhar Khriji is with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Sultan Qaboos University, Oman, since 2002. He received his Habilitation degree in Electronics from University of Sfax in 2005 and his Doctor of Technology Degree in Digital Signal Processing from Tampere University of Technology, Finland, in 2002. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence techniques and their applications in Agriculture and Medicine, Biomedical Signal and Image Processing and Analysis, Biomedical Electronics and Instrumentation, Embedded Systems, Ubiquitous Healthcare Monitoring, Nonlinear filter design, Hardware implementation of DSP algorithms, Design and implementation of intelligent signal processing systems. Dr. Lazhar is the principal investigator of several funded research projects. He has published over 120 research papers in international journals and conferences. He is a Member of the IEEE.
