Biography: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hamza Osman graduated with a Bachelor of Computer Science from International University of Africa. He obtained his Master's Degree in Computer Science from Sudan University of Science and Technology, Sudan and his PhD in Computer Science with excellent academic achievements from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He was the Head of Computer Science department at the Faculty of Computer Studies at international University of Africa. He worked as Assistant professor at International University of Africa in 2013, Northern Border University (Arar – Saudi Arabia) from 2013 – 2015, and King Abduaziz University from – 2015 - 2018. Currently he works as Associate Professor in King Abduaziz University (KAU) Saudi Arabia. In his academic career, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hamza Osman has taught at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, mostly for subjects related to Computer Science, Information Technology, and Information Systems. His research interest includes Information Retrieval, Plagiarism Detection, Soft Computing, and Data Mining, Natural Language Processing and Text Summarization. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hamza Osman has been involved in different funded research projects related in computer science. He has also authored over 50 journal articles and conference papers describing research into novel techniques for computerized Information Technology and Computer Science, with particular reference to textual, Soft Computing, NLP, and biological information. Among the research and innovation awards received by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hamza Osman are the PECIPTA 2011 Gold Medal award, the I-inova 2010 Gold Medal award, BioInnovation 2011 Bronze Award, UTM 2010 Best PhD student Award 2013, Best Postgraduate student Award 2013.
