Biography: DR. SHALINI PURI is awarded Ph.D. in Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, Jharkhand. Presently, she works as Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) in the Information Technology Department at Manipal University Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. She has 20 years of teaching experience and has 11 years of research experience. She has published 31 research papers and attended more than national FDPs, workshops, and training programs. The indexing of most of her research works is in various ESCI, SCOPUS, Web of Science, Elsevier, and Compendex Journals. She has published other research works in IEEE, Springer, and other international and national conferences. She has got the grant of an Australian patent and published two Indian Patents. She has received many awards and recognitions at the professional level from Government, private institutes, and other agencies. She has authored three books related to Software Engineering and computer fundamentals. Her research interests include Machine Learning, Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, and Artificial Intelligence. She has a strong base in Hindi Document Image Processing and is an expert in algorithm and data structure design using the latest technologies, especially for hybrid Fuzzy and Support Vector Systems. She has delivered many talks on topics related to the Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Fuzzy Logic, and Support Vector Machine.
