Biography: Dr. Sharma holds Ph.D and M.Tech degree in Computer Science and did his Post-doc in Artificial Intelligence from Department of Creative Technologies and Product Design, National Taipei University of Business, Taiwan. He has more than 23 years of experience in teaching and research. He has supervised 9 Ph.D scholars and currently supervising 6 Ph.D scholars in the field of Computer Science & Engineering. He has the credit of registering 10 National Patents, 5 International Patents and 12 Design Patents under his name in inventions in the field of Computer Science & Technology. He has authored and co-authored 6 books on Computer Science so far. He has participated as Convener, Organising Secretary, Resource Person, Moderator, Panelist, Keynote Plenary Speaker and Session Chair in several National, International Conferences and Workshops in India and abroad. He has chaired many technical sessions and delivered invited talks in National and International Conferences in India and abroad. He received numerous Awards for his academic and research achievements viz. Young Research Excellence Award, Young Scientist Award, Bright Researcher Award, Teacher Excellence Award, Teaching & Research Excellence Award, Eminently Distinguished Engineering Achievement Award, Award of Citation, Best Teacher Award, Best Research Paper Award from several professional bodies and societies. He is the Editorial Board Member and Reviewer of more than 20 National & International Journals. His research interests are- Web Mining, Sentiment Analysis, Big Data Analytics, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Machine Learning.
