Biography: Ashfaq Ahmad Malik is a PhD scholar at PN Engineering College (PNEC), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Karachi, Pakistan. His area of research is “A Framework of Adhoc Secure Trustworthy (FAST) C4I System using COTS and Open Source Software(OSS)”. He graduated as BE(Electrical) from PN Engg College/NEDUET, Karachi in 1994. He qualified Weapon Engineering Application Course (WEAC) from PN Engg College, Karachi in 1997. He did ME (Computer Systems) from NED University of Engg and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan in 2003. Ashfaq Ahmad Malik has almost 25 years of experience of working with respect to maintenance and operation of different Weapons, Sensors, Communication Systems, Fire Control Systems, Command & Control Systems etc related to different war ships of US/UK/French/Chinese origin.
