Biography: Received his PhD in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia/Malaysia, and the MSc, and BSc in Computer Science from Al Quds University/Palestine, and is currently working as Faculty member and Dean Assistant for Scientific Research at Al Quds Open University/Palestine. A strong activist in Research, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Mining, and Software Engineering and Development, he involves his students in a variety of software development projects to sharpen their skills, and help improve their employability in IT sector. His professional interests focus on applied machine learning, optimization, and interactive software development, and his current projects include data modelling, data classification optimization, and computer and mobile vision applications. In addition, he serves as review and organizing committee member for several international journal and conferences, and is a member of the technical committee of Supporting sustainable and inclusive growth in the occupied Palestinian Territory through digital inclusion project performed by ACTED in collaboration with MA’AN Development Center. He was honored with the Award of Excellence, Alumni Academic Award, and Best Student Award for his contributions during his PhD study at UTM.
