Biography: Nghia Duong-Trung received a Ph.D. degree in machine learning from Information Systems and Machine Learning Lab (ISMLL), University of Hildesheim, Germany, in 2017. His research activities have concentrated on machine learning, transfer learning, time series forecasting, immersive learning, educational data mining, artificial intelligence in education. He has contributed several research papers in top-tier conferences and journals such as IEEE Access, ACM CIKM, ECML PKDD, Wiley CCPE, Springer MONET, and IJACSA. He has served as a PC member/reviewer for numerous journals as PLOS ONE, EAI Endorsed Transactions, IEEE ACOMP, IEEE KSE. Dr. Nghia Duong-Trung's grants include Master Fellowship (Heilbronn University, Germany), Ph.D. Fellowship (ISMLL), and PostDoc (Technische Universität Berlin, Germany). He works as a full-time senior researcher at German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI GbmH), Berlin, Germany. He also works as a part-time academic teacher at IU International University of Applied Sciences - Campus Berlin, Germany.
