Biography: Chadi Riman received his Bachelor of Engineering and Masters of Engineering degrees both in Computer & Communication Engineering from the American University of Beirut (AUB), Lebanon in 1994 and 2004, respectively. He received his PhD degree at the University of Versailles (UVSQ), France in 2008. He is currently Associate Professor of Computer Engineering at American University of the Middle East, Kuwait. He previously served as Department Chair of Computer Engineering at the same university. He is also a research associate in University of Versailles (UVSQ), France. Previously, he was Assistant Professor and chairperson of the Computer Engineering department at Fahad Bin Sultan University, KSA. Before that, he worked in the software development domain, and was the MIS manager of a major hospital in Lebanon. His research interests include robotics and software systems for handicap rehabilitation, image compression techniques, and cryptography algorithms.
