Biography: Doina Zmaranda (b. July 14, 1967) received her PhD in Computer Science (2001) from the "Politechnica" University Timisoara, Romania. Now she is professor within the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Oradea, Romania. Her domain of research include Real Time Control Systems, SCADA systems, process scheduling, modeling and simulation, web and mobile applications, parallel computing. She has (co-)authored 3 books and more than 70 scientific papers
