Biography: Farzad Kiani (Ferzat Anka) received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in computer-software engineering in 2006 and 2009, respectively. Later on, he received a Ph.D. degree in computer engineering at Dokuz Eylul University, in 2014. He has domestic and international academic and sectoral experiences, and he has founding and leadership experience in research laboratories such as WSN, IoT and ML. He also served as department chair in the computer and software engineering departments. His research interests include Wireless Sensor Networks, Smart Cities, IoT, Bioinformatics, Reinforcement Learning, Distributed Systems, and Optimization Algorithms. Dr.Anka has undertaken various roles in national and international projects and has publications in many indexed journals and three books. He is currently working as an Associate Professor at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University's computer engineering department.
