Biography
Bogdan Belean was born in Targu-Mures, Romania, on February 7, 1983. He received his B.E. and Ph.D degree in electronics and communication engineering from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania in 2006 and 2010, respectively. He is currently a scientific researcher within the National Institute for Research and Developement of Isotopic and Molecular Technologies, department of Mass Spectrometry, Cluj-Napoca. His research interests include signal and image processing, bioinformatics and application specific hardware architectures for parallel computing.
